VARDZIA
The cave monastery complex, a monument of Georgian architecture XII-XIII centuries. It is located in the historical Javakheti, Aspindza in the area on the left bank of the Mtkvari River. The monastery complex mainly was created in 1156-1203 years. In the august 15, 1185 during the reign of Queen Tamar, the village was illuminated.
SHATILI
The village in Khevsureti, at an altitude of 1,400 m. Above sea level, 160 km. from Tbilisi. The village, which also served as a shelter and a fortress for centuries protected the northern borders of Georgia. Buildings includes a single fortified complex of residential buildings with a flat roof and 60 defensive towers.
ABANOTUBANI
Old area in the center of Tbilisi. Name associated with baths, built at different times in the XVII-XIX centuries, is a well known source of hot sulphurous water.
USHGULI
Mestia Municipality which consists of 4 villages, one of them - Chazhashi - World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The village has preserved the traditional Svan tower house. Ushguli height ranges from 2060 to 2200 meters. According to these data Ushguli is considered the most high-altitude permanent settlement in Europe. The etymology of Ushguli is connected with the "fearless heart." Throughout Ushguli history in this community did not extend serfdom. In the Russian Empire, they were mentioned as "voluntary Svans"
NEKRESI
The historic town in Kakheti. Founded be king Farnadzhom (the fourth king of Iberia) in II-I centuries. DN era. In IV. King Tradate erected here a church where in the VI century, settled one of the Assyrian father Abo. At that time was created Nekresi. The monastery complex comprises several monuments, which the minor basilica of IV century is one of the oldest in Georgia.
